The only way to sea most of the Alaskan coastline is by boat. |

| A sea Lion basking in the sun | Puffins are small sea birds. They gorge themselves on fish and then have a hard time taking off | We enjoyed pointing out puffins to each other (preferably, accompanied with a battle cry - PUFFINS!!!). Unfortunately, we couldn't take great Puffin pics, so this is an illustration. |

The boat took us up close to Aialik Glacier, where we had the pleasure of seeing many spotted seals. We also views some magnificent glacier calving, some of which we captured on our camcorder. |
